ProfiDrum Stainless (Special Order Only)

The ProfiDrum CombiBio is the intersection of our experience in the areas of mechanical and biological filtration. As a turnkey solution, you connect the inlets and outlets to your pipework and connect the power plug. Based on the principle of a "moving bed" the integrated aeration agitates the new ProfiDrum biomedia. The ProfiDrum CombiBio includes both an air pump and integrated high pressure pump (for the RDF cleaning), all contained in a secured and dry chamber. The ProfiDrum CombiBio uses the same reliable control box as the standard ProfiDrum RDFs. And of course, the filter comes standard with a reduced installation height and cover.

The ProfiDrum CombiBio comes in two compact sizes, with a maximum flow of 8,000gph or 13,000 gph of water.

THE PROFIDRUM CONTROL UNIT PROVIDES:
  • The identification of the correct time for cleaning the drum.
  • The duration of the rinse itself. This time is adjustable from 2 seconds to several minutes. In practice, one wash of 10-12 seconds is average.
  • Controlling the motor to rotate the drum. The drum motor spins the drum during the flushing process so that integrated nozzles clean it. The waste tray then catches the flushed waste and removes it from the system.
  • Termination of the rinsing process as soon as the integrated system detects the required water level.
