BREEDER PROFILE:

 

Sekiguchi Koi Farm is located in Minami Uonuma, Niigata prefecture with 40,000 m2 of breeding area. Masayuki Sekiguchi is the 3rd generation breeder at the farm and currently takes the lead in producing large size high quality showa. Renown showa specialist, their showa are among the best in the world. Sekiguchi showa have won various major awards including Grand Champion in 2015 at The 32nd All Japan Young Koi Show.

 

 

 

THE BATTLE:

 

Masayuki handpicked 10 vhq jumbo tosai showa “best of the best” from his tategoi stock exclusively for Genki Koi customers. They will be grown out in his Shiozawa mud pond this summer and harvested this autumn. Please note, these photos were taken at just 11 months old. You can expect big size this autumn.

  4. Each showa comes with a genuine breeder certificate
  5. If the above conditions are not met, Masayuki san will replace another showa with the same quality and value next spring

Genki Koi will honor this special price until Oct. 1st, 2018 on a 1st come 1st serve basis. (Price includes 2018 mud pond fee and shipping cost to Genki Koi this fall)

 

AWARD:

 

Masayuki san will select a Grand Champion among these 10 showa after the harvest. The prize award will be a choice of one of these Sekiguchi bred Pearl Gin koi pictured below valued at $1,000 each.
