Visited Yamamatsu Koi Farm, Toshiyuki Sakai and home of Matsunosuke sanke. I had many laugh with Sakai and was treated to select his best available for sale jumbo tosai sanke. The brothers seined a pond of 500 sanke and I got to handselect 25 pcs from them. Incredable shiro ground and sumi quality, pictures doesn't do them just. Next stop was Hoshikin Koi Farm. Katsuyuki and his staff seined a pond of 70 13"-17" jumbo tosai tategpo kohaku at just 11 months old. These were pricey so I bought only 6 kohaku guaranteed female. 4 are coming home 2 growing out at their farm. Also bought 2 nice tancho kohaku from them LINK |
